Cellular shades are also known as
honeycomb shades. These fabric shades are
made from two sheets of fabric that once
combined, form air pockets, otherwise
known as cells. These cells form the
shapes of honeycombs.The formation of
these honeycombs or cells creates a vacuum
for trapping air. As a result cellular
shades are extremely energy efficient.
Cellular shades are available in both
single and double honeycomb cell designs
with a variety of pleat sizes, colors and
an array of distinctive fabrics that
provide varying degrees of light
control.
Cellular shades are made of color-fast,
non-woven polyester, are simple to clean,
and extremely durable.
